Wild Garlic Yogurt Bread

The perfect wild garlic yogurt bread recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 g Flour
  • 1 tsp = 1 Päckchen Natron
  • 1 tbsp Baking powder
  • 3 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 150 g Oatmeal
  • 1 Egg
  • 500 ml Yogurt
  • 50 g Wild garlic = 1 bouquet
  • 3 size Sun-Dried tomatoes in oil
  1. Mix the egg with the yogurt. Halve the wild garlic, cut into narrow strips and sauté briefly in butter. Roughly dice tomatoes.
  1. Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, oat flakes, sugar and salt, add yogurt + egg as well as wild garlic and tomatoes. Knead everything well.
  1. Place the finished dough on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Shape a loaf with floured hands.
  1. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 ° top / bottom heat for approx. 40 minutes.
  1. The second time I baked the bread with oat flakes, I baked it extra fine – I like the first variant with the grainy oat flakes better. The bread tastes good only with / without wild garlic and / or tomatoes – salted butter is delicious with it.
