Wild Garlic Yogurt Bread
The perfect wild garlic yogurt bread recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 500 g Flour
- 1 tsp = 1 Päckchen Natron
- 1 tbsp Baking powder
- 3 tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 150 g Oatmeal
- 1 Egg
- 500 ml Yogurt
- 50 g Wild garlic = 1 bouquet
- 3 size Sun-Dried tomatoes in oil
- Mix the egg with the yogurt. Halve the wild garlic, cut into narrow strips and sauté briefly in butter. Roughly dice tomatoes.
- Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, oat flakes, sugar and salt, add yogurt + egg as well as wild garlic and tomatoes. Knead everything well.
- Place the finished dough on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Shape a loaf with floured hands.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 200 ° top / bottom heat for approx. 40 minutes.
- The second time I baked the bread with oat flakes, I baked it extra fine – I like the first variant with the grainy oat flakes better. The bread tastes good only with / without wild garlic and / or tomatoes – salted butter is delicious with it.
