Ingredients for 10 servings:

  • 1 kg minced venison or wild boar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 5 tsp spice mix, for meatballs
  • 2 rolls
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • some clarified butter for frying
  • n. B. Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Soak the rolls in water. Finely chop the onions. Squeeze the water out of the soaked rolls and mix with the ground beef, onions, eggs, and seasoning mix until smooth. Let rest for about 15 minutes. Using an ice cream scoop, form balls from the mixture and fry them in a pan in hot clarified butter.
