Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Easy and quick to prepare in the oven!
Soak the bread roll in lukewarm water, finely chop or mince the onion and garlic. Squeeze out the excess water from the bread roll and knead it into a dough with the ground beef, eggs, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika. Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces. Cut the cheese into 12 equal pieces, wrap each piece of cheese in the minced meat, and form into small, oblong meatloaf loaves. Line a baking sheet with baking paper and place the small meatloaves on it. Melt the butter, mix it with the olive oil, and brush the meatloaves with it. Bake the loaves in the oven at 200°C for 25-30 minutes. Serve with a Greek salad with olives and flatbread or crispy ciabatta. TIP: These small meatloaves also make a great appetizer with a small leaf salad (although one small meatloaf per person will be enough) or for a cold buffet!
