Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 500 ml apple juice, naturally cloudy
- 2 tsp brown sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- ½ tsp cinnamon powder
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 2 servings of whipped cream
- e.g. almond sticks or almond flakes
- e.g. cinnamon powder or cocoa powder
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Toast the almonds if desired and set aside. Combine the sugar, vanilla sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, and apple juice in a saucepan and bring to a boil briefly until the sugar has melted. Stir occasionally. Pour the hot punch into glasses (about 300 ml glasses are sufficient for two). Top with whipped cream and garnish with toasted almonds and/or cocoa or cinnamon powder, if desired. Serve hot.
