Baked Apple Fruit Punch

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 500 ml apple juice
  • 3 oranges
  • 1 lemon(s)
  • 300 ml water, boiling
  • 2 tea bags (apple tea)
  • 30 g vanilla sugar
  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • 3 star anise
  • 3 carnations
  • e.g. ginger

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

a fruity punch, suitable for cold days, especially at Christmas time

Peel the ginger and chop it into small pieces. Then add it to the apple juice. Squeeze the oranges and lemon. Pour the juice into the apple juice. Add the spices and simmer with the lid on for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, bring the water to a boil and let the tea bags steep. Add the tea and perhaps a little more sugar to the apple juice and stir. Then strain the punch into a saucepan to remove the spices.
