Ingredients for 8 servings:
- 5 eggs
- 6 tbsp honey
- 200 g ground almonds
- 200 g hazelnuts, ground
- 100 g candied lemon
- 100 g candied orange peel
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 pinch of clove(s), ground
- wafers
- Chocolate coating, dark
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Whisk the eggs and honey until frothy, then knead in the almonds, hazelnuts, candied lemon peel, candied orange peel, and spices. Place 1 heaped tablespoon of batter onto the wafers. Bake at 160°C for 30 minutes. Cover the finished gingerbread with chocolate coating.
