Wok Dish

The perfect wok dish recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 g Broccoli
  • 1 bunch Spring onion
  • 1 Pc. Ginger, approx. 2 cm
  • 1 Pc. Red pepper
  • 200 g Sugar snap
  • 1 Pc. Red chilli pepper
  • 500 g Pork tenderloin
  • 2 tbsp Sesame
  • 2 tbsp Sesame or peanut oil
  • 100 ml Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Liquid honey
  • 1 tsp Asian spice or 5-spice powder
  • 1 tsp Food starch
  • 4 stems Coriander
  1. Peel and finely chop the ginger, cut the spring onion into rings. Divide the broccoli into florets. Cut the bell pepper into strips. Halve the sugar snap peas at an angle. Cut the chilli lengthways, core and cut into small pieces. Cut the meat into thin strips.
  1. Roast the sesame seeds in a wok without fat, then set aside. Heat the oil in the wok and fry the meat in 2 portions for approx. 3 minutes while turning, then remove. Briefly sauté the ginger and spring onions in the frying fat, then fry the broccoli and paprika for approx. 4 minutes, stirring constantly. Add the sugar snap peas and fry briefly.
  1. Add soy sauce, 100 ml water, honey and Asian spice and bring to the boil. Mix the cornstarch with 1 tablespoon of water until smooth. Tie the sauce with it. Add the meat again and heat briefly. Pluck the coriander leaves and sprinkle over the dish together with the sesame seeds. Rice goes well with it.
