Ingredients
- 1,5 kg Apple Boskoop or others
- 2 Mangoes
- 1 Lemon
- 125 ml Orange juice
- 2 tbsp Sugar as desired
Instructions
- Pour water into a large bowl, squeeze the lemon and pour the juice over the water.
- Wash and peel the apples, cut out the core, cut into quarters and place in the lemon water.
- Peel the mangoes, cut the flesh into wedges and dice.
- Pour orange juice into a large saucepan, add the sugar, apple and mango pieces and cook to make a compote.
- In the meantime, rinse jars with twist off lids in hot water and dry them out.
- Pour the compote into the glasses provided and put the lid on.
- Pour water into a baking dish and place in the oven preheated to 80-90 degrees.
- Place the jars filled with the compote in the frying pan and let sterilize for about 30 minutes. Let cool, remove and label.
