Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 350 g lentils, light
- 300 g soup vegetables, diced (frozen)
- 1 bunch of parsley
- 1 onion(s), finely diced
- 3 tbsp vegetable fat (Rama Culinesse)
- 3 large potatoes, diced
- 300 g smoked pork (comb), boneless
- 4 sausages (Wiener)
- 2 tbsp vegetable shortening (Rama Culinesse)
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1,200 ml broth
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Roughly chop the smoked pork. Heat the 3 tablespoons of Rama Culinesse in a large pot. Add the smoked pork, soup vegetables, and diced onion and fry. Then deglaze with stock. Add the lentils and simmer for about 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, add the diced potatoes and simmer for another 25 minutes. Add more stock, if necessary. Reduce the heat and remove the smoked pork. Chop the smoked pork and briefly brown it in the remaining 2 tablespoons of Rama Culinesse in a hot pan. Sprinkle with flour and wait until it toasts and turns brown. Add this roux and the smoked pork to the soup and stir. Chop the wiener sausages and add them to the lentils. Serve sprinkled with fresh parsley.
