Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 slices of white bread
  • 8 slice(s) bacon, thinly sliced
  • 2 m.-sized cucumber(s), pickled gherkins cut into thin slices
  • 2 slice(s) cheese, large, raclette
  • ½ Pepper, mild cut into strips
  • 4 medium-sized mushrooms, sliced
  • some butter
  • some salt
  • some paprika powder, sweet
  • some chives, finely chopped
  • some pepper, from the mill

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Preheat the oven to 180 to 200 degrees Celsius (350 to 400 degrees Fahrenheit). Top the bread slices with the bacon, arrange the pickle slices on top of the bacon, and cover with the raclette cheese. Bake the whole thing in the oven until the cheese melts. Meanwhile, heat the butter in a pan, sauté the pepperoni strips and mushroom slices, and add a little salt. Remove the toast from the oven, arrange it on a plate, add the pepperoni and mushrooms to the toast, and sprinkle with paprika and chives. Season generously with the pepper mill.
