Woodruff Ice
The perfect woodruff ice recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

- 200 ml. Milk
- 100 ml. Cream
- 2 Tablespoon (level) Lime juice
- 5 Tablespoon Powdered sugar
- 100 ml. Woodruff syrup (in my KB)
- Or
- Bought syrup
- You have woodruff in the garden then I definitely recommend making the syrup yourself. It is much more intense and pure in color. Furthermore, when using my own syrup, I always have a beautiful, pale green color. I don’t help with food coloring. If you don’t want to use it, you can buy a really good one in the supermarket.
- Remove the avocado from the skin and puree. Drizzle with lime juice and cover.
- Now mix the liquid ingredients one after the other. I do this in a bowl that parks on ice cubes. Then fold in the avocado. Finally, the woodruff syrup is added. Here you can of course give free rein to your taste ….. More syrup = more color – but remember, it will also be sweeter !!!!
- Finally, sieve in the powdered sugar and add it too.
- Put it in the ice cream machine for about 40 minutes. When the ice cream is finished, just serve it up nicely and just enjoy it in full spoons.
