Wraps with Nuremberg bratwurst and sauerkraut

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 24 Nuremberg bratwursts
  • some vegetable oil for frying
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 300 g sauerkraut
  • 200 g sour cream
  • 4 tsp, heaped mustard, medium hot
  • 2 tsp, heaped honey, liquid
  • salt and pepper
  • 6 wraps
  • Margarine for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Fry the sausages in a pan with a little vegetable oil over medium heat until golden brown. Meanwhile, peel the onion and slice it into thin half rings. Add the sliced ​​onion to the sausages and fry until golden brown. Then remove the sausages and onions from the pan. Heat the sauerkraut in the pan with a little water until the liquid has evaporated. Remove the sauerkraut from the pan and set aside. Mix the sour cream with honey and mustard in a bowl. Season with pepper and salt. Spread the honey and sour cream on the wraps, spread the sauerkraut on top, then top each with 4 sausages and some of the onions. Roll up the wraps. Heat a little margarine in the pan and fry the wraps on all sides over medium heat until golden brown.
