Wrong Burgundy Roast

The perfect wrong burgundy roast recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 2 kilogram Smoked pork neck
  • 5 piece Bay leaf fresh
  • 20 piece Juniper berries
  • Salt, pepper, sugar
  • 5 Tablespoon (level) Sweet paprika powder
  • 10 tbsp Flour
  • 5 tablespoon Ground garlic
  • 2 liter Water
  1. Wash the smoked meat and stew in a roaster with water, a little salt, bay leaf and juniper berries for about 2 hours at full boil.
  2. For the sauce, remove a liter of stock in a saucepan and prepare a sauce with the flour, paprika powder, garlic powder, a pinch of sugar, pepper and salt. I do without a wine to season.
  3. Today we have boiled potatoes and sauerkraut with it. Have fun cooking and be hungry!
  4. You don’t always have to add allolol to the sauce. Juices do it too and that’s healthier! I prefer to drink a nice drop from “Burgundy”. By the way the pig was “Burgundy”!
