Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 140 ml water, warm
  • ½ cube of yeast

  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 2 cups herb cream cheese

  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 100 g bacon, diced

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

without puff pastry

For the dough, knead the flour with warm water, yeast, oil, and salt and let it rise. Meanwhile, prepare the filling. To do this, fry the bacon until crispy. Mix the cream cheese with the tomato paste and the fried bacon. Roll out the yeast dough thinly. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the dough, leaving about 1 cm free at one end. Sprinkle the grated cheese over the cream cheese and then roll the dough thinly into a log, leaving the approx. 1 cm free edge as the finishing touch. Then cut into 3-4 cm thick slices and place on a baking sheet. Bake for about 20 minutes at 200°C (fan oven). Serve with a green salad.
