Yeast Plait As Easter Bunny

The perfect yeast plait as easter bunny recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 g Flour
  • 1 Yeast fresh
  • 125 ml Milk warm
  • 60 g Butter
  • 2 Eggs
  • 60 g Vanilla sugar -from my KB-
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • Glaze:
  • 50 g Melted butter
  1. ) Dissolve the flour, yeast in the milk, eggs, vanilla sugar, salt and softened butter in a mixing bowl. Work the ingredients into a smooth dough. Let the dough rise in the oven at 50 degrees (convection) for 10 minutes, switch off the oven but leave it closed and let the dough rise for another 20 minutes.
  2. ) Knead the dough well again with your hands and shape it into a roll and tail.
  3. ) Melt the butter, brush the braid with it. Let the braid rise for another 10 minutes. Then bake for 20 minutes at 200 degrees (convection).
