Yogurt dumplings

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 3 eggs, including the yolk
  • 100 g powdered sugar
  • 2 cups of yogurt
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 4 sheets of gelatin
  • 1 tbsp rum
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Total time approx. 1 day 20 minutes

Lightly mix the egg yolks, powdered sugar, vanilla sugar, and yogurt with a mixer. Place the gelatin in a water bath for 10 minutes. Heat the rum and lemon juice, stir in the gelatin, and let cool slightly. Then add drop by drop to the yogurt. Mix everything with the whipped cream. Transfer to a bowl and refrigerate for 24 hours. Then scoop out small dumplings with a spoon and serve with your favorite sauce.
