  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 packet of baking powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 55 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

with Greek yogurt, for a baking pan of 20 x 20 x 5 cm

Measure all ingredients except the baking powder into a mixing bowl and mix thoroughly for 5 minutes. Add the baking powder during the last minute. Brush a 20 x 20 x 5 cm baking pan with oil, including the edges, and pour in the batter. Place the pan in the oven and bake the cake at 160°C fan-assisted oven for approximately 50-55 minutes. Allow to cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Before cutting and removing from the oven, carefully loosen the edges all around the baking pan with a knife. The cake yields 9 very large slices for a big appetite or 18 small slices, which is recommended due to the high nut content. Tip: Serve with whipped cream!
