Ziegbert with Mouse-ear Lettuce

The perfect ziegbert with mouse-ear lettuce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Honey mustard dressing:

  • 10 Pc. Strips of bacon
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 2 tbsp Mustard
  • 12 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 Pr Pepper
  • 1 Pr Parsley
  • 1 Pc. Onion

Ziegbert:

  • 5 Pc. Goat camembert
  • 5 tsp Honey

Stick bread:

  • 250 g Flour
  • 0,5 tsp Salt
  • 20 g Yeast fresh
  • 150 ml Milk lukewarm
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  1. The stick bread dough is prepared at lunchtime. All ingredients are kneaded into a dough in a bowl. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 2 hours. Divide the dough into 5 portions and bake on a stick over an open fire for about 5 minutes.
  2. First, the lamb’s lettuce is washed thoroughly. For the dressing mix honey, mustard, olive oil, salt and pepper in a bowl. Parsley and the onion are cut very small and added to the bowl. The goat cheese is spread with a spoonful of honey and gratinated in the oven for 15 minutes at 150 degrees top and bottom heat.
  3. The bacon is seared before serving.
