Zucchini casserole with feta cheese and tomatoes

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g zucchini, sliced
  • 2 onions, diced
  • 200 g minced meat
  • 250 g tomatoes, pureed
  • 150 g feta cheese, in cubes
  • 150 g sour cream
  • ½ bunch thyme
  • oil
  • Cayenne pepper
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Sauté the zucchini in 2 tablespoons of oil and then place it in a casserole dish. Sauté the diced onions in 2 tablespoons of oil, add the minced meat, and fry. Season with salt and cayenne pepper, deglaze with the passata, and bring to a boil briefly. Meanwhile, mix the feta cheese with the sour cream. Pour the sauce over the zucchini and spoon the feta cheese over the sauce. Sprinkle with thyme. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 20 minutes.
