Zucchini casserole with minced meat

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 400 g zucchini
  • 400 g potatoes, peeled
  • salt water
  • 600 g minced meat, mixed
  • 100 g cheese (Emmental), grated
  • salt and pepper
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel the potatoes and boil in salted water. Wash the zucchini and slice them widthwise into approximately 1 cm thick slices. Then lightly sauté the zucchini slices in hot oil on both sides. Remove the zucchini from the pan and fry the minced meat in it until crumbly. Season with salt and pepper. Place the minced meat in a shallow baking dish, arrange the potato and zucchini slices in strips upright, so that, viewed from above, the minced meat, potatoes, and zucchini alternate. Sprinkle the cheese on top. Bake the casserole in a preheated oven at 200°C for approximately 10-15 minutes, until the cheese has a nice crust.
