Zucchini – Cheese – Skewers

The perfect zucchini – cheese – skewers recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 350 g Sheep cheese
  • 100 ml Olive oil
  • 1 Splash Lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoon Oregano
  • 2 Zucchini … about the same size
  • Salt pepper
  • ******
  • Toothpick
  1. Cut the sheep’s cheese into pieces as thick as a finger and place in a shallow bowl
  2. Mix the oil with lemon juice, oregano, salt and pepper and pour over the cheese. Cover and put in the fridge for about an hour … from time to time
  3. Slice the zucchini lengthways into thin strips and wrap a piece of cheese with it, fix with a toothpick ….. place again in the rest of the marinade and let it steep a little while turning
  4. Drain the skewers a little, grill them on the grill for about 5 minutes so that the cheese does not run out
  5. Tzatziki and a flatbread go with it
