Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 175 g rice, or 1 bag, is less, but it doesn’t matter
  • 2 zucchinis
  • 2 onions
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 100 g dried tomatoes in oil
  • some rosemary
  • 500 g minced meat (beef)
  • 200 g feta cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 eggs
  • salt and pepper
  • oil
  • Fat, for the shape

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Cook the rice in boiling salted water according to the package instructions. Wash and trim the zucchini and slice diagonally. Peel and finely dice the onions and garlic. Drain the tomatoes and chop finely. Strip the leaves of fresh rosemary and chop them. Heat the oil in a pan, sauté the zucchini, and brown the minced meat. Add the onions, garlic, tomatoes, and rosemary and sauté. Season with salt and pepper. Mix together 100g of feta, sour cream, and eggs, and season with salt and pepper. Layer the minced meat mixture and rice in a greased baking dish. Pour the sour cream over the mixture. Crumble the remaining feta over the top. Bake in a preheated oven (electric oven: 200°C, fan oven: 175°C) for about 20 minutes.
