Zucchini Shaken
The perfect zucchini shaken recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 3 Smaller zucchini
- 1 Fresh onion
- 2 Small stalks of dill (fresh)
- 2 Stalk of savory (fresh)
- 6 tbsp Bautzen herb vinegar 10%
- 1 small cup Cold water
- 2 leveled tsp Salt
- 1 leveled tsp Pepper
- 4 leveled tsp Sugar
- 2 tsp Sweet mustard
- 3 tsp Mustard seeds
- 3 tbsp Good rapeseed oil
- Cut the zucchini and onion into thin slices. Make a marinade from all the ingredients in a sealable bowl and add the sliced zucchini and onions. (Please use a high-quality rapeseed oil for a few euros more than the cheap products – you can really taste the difference.)
- Close the bowl with a lid and then shake vigorously. Repeat this process more often. The zucchini taste best when they are shaken more often for about 10 hours as mentioned. For a barbecue evening with a sausage from the charcoal grill, a delicious and healthy alternative instead of potato or pasta salads.
