Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g pork, diced
  • 250 g bacon or belly bacon
  • 3 bell peppers, colored
  • 2 onions
  • 1 zucchini
  • 250 g mushrooms
  • 2 bottles of Hungarian-style paprika sauce, approx. 250 g each
  • 100 ml tomato ketchup
  • 175 ml water
  • salt and pepper
  • curry powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 20 minutes

Cut all ingredients into large pieces. Brown the onions and bacon thoroughly in a large roasting pan. Place the onions and bacon on the roasting pan lid and sear the meat on all sides. Add the vegetables and onions/bacon. Add the water, paprika sauce, ketchup, and seasoning. Place the roasting pan in the covered oven on the lowest rack at 200°C (400°F) for 1.5 hours. Serve with pasta, rice, or baguette.
