Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g flour
- 6 g salt
- ½ tsp sugar
- 20 g yeast, fresh
- 300 ml milk (or water)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 150 g tomatoes, pureed (Pomito)
- oregano
- some tomato peppers
- some mushrooms
- some salami
- some cheese, grated
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes
For one baking tray
Important: No pre-dough! It works just fine! Crumble the yeast, flour, salt, oil, and sugar into a bowl, and add lukewarm milk or water. Stir everything together and let it rise. Then roll it out and place it on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Prick the dough randomly with a fork and let it rest. Then add tomatoes, cheese, toppings (tomatoes, peppers, mushrooms, salami, or whatever you like), and finally more cheese and oregano. Let it rise again, then bake in the oven at 200°C for about 30 minutes.
