Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 4 m.-large kohlrabi
- 250 g mixed minced meat
- 1 small bread roll(s) or rolls dried, cut into cubes
- some milk
- 1 onion(s), chopped
- 1 bunch parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp, heaped spice mix (vegetable seasoning Vegeta)
- some oil
- pepper
- marjoram
- ⅛ liter cream
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 clove(s) garlic,
- some lemon juice
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Scoop out the peeled kohlrabi with a spoon, boil in salted water until soft, and place in an ovenproof dish. Squeeze out the excess liquid from a bread roll soaked in milk and add it to the minced meat. Sauté the chopped onion and chopped parsley in oil and add to the meat mixture. Season with marjoram, pepper, and half a teaspoon of Vegeta. Mix everything well with your hands and stuff the kohlrabi. Mix the remaining Vegeta with 1/4 liter of water and pour it over the kohlrabi. Sauté at 180°C for about 30 minutes. Mix the cream with the cornstarch and season with crushed garlic and lemon juice. Pour over the kohlrabi and sauté for a further 15 minutes. To save calories, you can use water instead of cream or mix it! This goes very well with boiled potatoes and salad! The scooped-out leftovers make a great soup!
