Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2,000 g apples
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 70 g brown sugar
  • 300 ml cider, sweet (not so sweet with a bitter aftertaste)
  • 100 ml white wine
  • 1 stalk(s) cinnamon
  • 10 grains of allspice
  • 1 vanilla pod(s), split
  • 2 carnations
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 pieces ginger, in syrup, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Peel, trim, and dice the apples. Peel and dice the onions and garlic. Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan and bring to a boil. Pour hot into prepared twist-off jars, seal immediately, and let cool. It goes well with game, meat, and also enhances red cabbage and sauces.
