BBQ sauce for spare ribs

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 bottle of ketchup, approx. 800 ml
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 3 tbsp vinegar
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp cola
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Dice the onion and fry in oil. Add the brown sugar and let it caramelize. Deglaze with the vinegar. Add the remaining ingredients and simmer for about 10 minutes. Add more vinegar or honey if desired.
