Orange chocolate muffins

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 200 g butter or margarine
  • 200 g milk or dark chocolate
  • 200 g yogurt
  • 200 g flour
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • 1 orange(s), zest and juice
  • 150 g mascarpone
  • 100 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 100 g chocolate, white
  • n. B. Vanilla flavor
  • e.g. vanilla sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Melt the butter. Melt the dark chocolate in a double boiler. Beat the sugar and eggs until fluffy. Add the butter and chocolate. Add the yogurt and half of the orange juice and mix until smooth. Fold in the flour, baking powder and orange zest. Pour the finished batter into a greased muffin tin or a muffin tin lined with paper cases. Place in the oven at 160°C for 15 minutes. The baking time may vary depending on the oven. For the topping, melt the white chocolate and mix with the remaining juice, the mascarpone, the quark and the vanilla extract. It is best to refrigerate for one hour as the cream will be a little runny at first. Decorate the muffins with the topping and, for example, hazelnut brittle.
