Vegetarian tomato sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 point soup vegetables, frozen
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 750 g tomatoes
  • 1 tsp marjoram, dried
  • 1 tsp thyme, dried
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Peel and press the garlic cloves, dice the onion, and sauté both with the soup vegetables in olive oil. Add the peeled tomatoes, chopped, season with thyme, marjoram, salt, and pepper, and simmer for about 20 minutes. Perfect with pasta or tortellini.
