Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 onion(s), finely chopped
  • 3 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 250 ml meat broth or bone broth
  • 100 ml red wine

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

a very versatile sauce, especially with grilled dishes such as rabbit or lamb

Melt the butter and slowly sauté the onions until translucent. Add all ingredients and cook gently for about 10 minutes. If you like, you can briefly puree the onions with a hand blender.
