Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 100 g bacon, finely diced
- 1 shallot(s), finely diced
- 150 ml Marsala
- 150 ml chicken stock
- 5 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 pinch of chili salt
- Flour butter
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
with poultry or pan-fried dishes
Fry the bacon in a pan until crispy, add the shallot, and roast it. Deglaze everything with Marsala. Add the vegetable stock, balsamic vinegar, chili salt, and bay leaf, and reduce the sauce by half. Stir in the flour butter in small flakes and bring the sauce back to a boil.
