Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 medium-sized onion(s), finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 500 ml tomato(s), pureed
  • 200 ml vegetable stock
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp curry powder
  • 2 dashes of Tabasco
  • 2 tbsp honey, liquid
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp sweet paprika powder
  • vegetable oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Heat vegetable oil in a saucepan. Sauté onions until golden brown, stir in tomato paste, and fry briefly. Add vegetable stock, passata, and the remaining ingredients and simmer gently for 1 hour. Season with salt and pepper, and adjust seasoning if desired.
