Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g flour, type 405
  • 175 g butter
  • 150 g sugar (or rock candy)
  • 1 egg(s)
  • Cardamom, cinnamon or anise to taste
  • 1 cup(s) lukewarm water (approx. 200ml)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Dissolve sugar or rock candy in the warm water. Beat the butter and egg until fluffy. Alternately add the flour and sugar water, along with the seasoning. The batter should flow easily from the spoon. Let it rest for 1-2 hours. Bake in a croissant iron.
