Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 4 egg whites
  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 150 g marzipan – raw mass
  • 300 g nuts, ground
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Cake icing, chocolate

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Christmas cookies

Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Gradually add the sugar and vanilla sugar. Crumble the marzipan mixture with a fork, mix with the nuts and cinnamon, and fold into the beaten egg whites. Fill the batter into a piping bag and pipe strips onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake at 150°C for approximately 20-25 minutes. Carefully remove the sky breads from the baking paper and let them cool. Dip the ends in melted chocolate coating and let them dry on the baking paper.
