Horseradish cutlets with apples

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 large pork chops
  • 3 apples, not too sour
  • 1 small jar horseradish
  • 1 cup of sweet cream
  • butter
  • some milk
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Don’t peel the apples, but core and slice them. Fry them in a little butter to brown them. Then set them aside in a bowl. Season the chops with salt and pepper. In the same pan, brown the chops in a little butter and place them in a baking dish. Arrange the apples on top of the chops. Heat a jar of horseradish and a cup of cream (with a little milk if desired) in the pan and season with salt and pepper. Pour over the chops and apples and place in the oven at 150°C for 20 minutes; it should simmer gently. Serve with pasta or potatoes.
