Oatmeal bread for the bread maker

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 ml water, boiling
  • 100 g oat flakes, soft
  • 100 ml water
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 370 g wheat flour, type 550
  • 30 g rye flour, type 1150
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 7 g dry yeast (usually equivalent to one sachet)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 3 hours 20 minutes

slightly nutty taste, prepared with vinegar instead of sourdough

Pour boiling water over the oats and let stand for 20 minutes. Then add the water, vinegar, and honey to the baking pan. Then add the soaked oats, flour, salt, and dried yeast. Place the baking pan in the bread maker and select the “normal” program (preparation time approximately 3 hours).
