Bean soup with tomatoes and minced meat

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 2 large cans of beans (green, broad or snap beans)
  • 5 onions
  • 200 g tomato paste (1 gr. + 1 small can)
  • 1 liter meat broth (and bean broth)
  • 500 g tomatoes
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup of sweet cream
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • oregano
  • basil
  • Thyme
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

a quick party soup that always hits the spot

Heat the oil, fry the minced meat until crumbly (but still soft). Add the onions (cut into half rings) and sauté briefly. Add the beans and water from the can/jar. Top up with meat broth. Add the tomato paste and season well. Cook for 30 minutes over medium heat. Peel the tomatoes, remove the seeds, and cut into pieces. Heat in the soup. Finally, stir in the cream/sour cream and adjust the seasoning if necessary.
