Quark-oil dough rolls with chocolate pieces

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g quark, 20%, not squeezed
  • 6 tbsp oil, neutral, e.g. rapeseed oil
  • 1 m.-sized egg(s)
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 4 drops of vanilla flavor
  • 60 g sugar
  • 300 g flour, type 405
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 100 g chocolate coating, semi-sweet, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

A kind of chocolate wuppy – enough for 8 rolls

Using a hand mixer fitted with a dough hook, combine all ingredients up to and including the baking powder in the given order to form a smooth quark and oil dough, then stir in the chocolate. Form 8 flatbreads onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake on the middle rack of a preheated oven at 160-170°C (fan oven). Bake for approximately 15-20 minutes, until the desired browning is achieved.
