Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 700 ml water, lukewarm
  • 50 g yeast
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp oil
  • 1 kg flour (type 550)
  • Fat for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Danish baker’s recipe – cheap and good

Mix lukewarm water with the yeast. Add salt and oil. Slowly add the flour and knead until a smooth dough forms. Let the dough rest for 30 minutes. Knead again briefly and form two loaves. Place on a baking sheet or in a greased 2-liter bread pan. Let rest for another 20 minutes. Then score the loaves and brush with water. Bake in a preheated oven at 225°C for about 35 minutes.
