Potato bread with rock salt

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg flour
  • 2 sachets of dry yeast
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 3 bags of mashed potato powder
  • n. B. water
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • e.g. salt, coarse (hail salt)

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 4 hours; Total time approx. 4 hours 25 minutes

First, combine the flour with the dried yeast, salt, sugar, and mashed potato powder. Then, add enough water until the dough starts to pull away from the bowl. Then, refrigerate the dough in the bowl (uncovered) for 4 hours or overnight. Once the dough has risen, shape it into a loaf and prick it several times with a fork. Brush the bread with olive oil. Sprinkle all over with rock salt. Bake for about 1 hour at approximately 180°C.
