Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 250 g flour
- 200 ml water, warm
- 1 tsp baking powder
- Oil (corn germ oil) for baking
- Salt
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
In a bowl, mix the flour with the baking powder and salt. Add warm water and knead everything into a smooth dough. Knead on a lightly floured surface until elastic. Form 4 balls and roll or stretch them into round, 5 mm thick flatbreads. Cut out a 2 cm piece of dough from the center to ensure even cooking and fry in a pan with plenty of hot oil for about 1 1/2 minutes. Serve with jam or simply on its own.
