Meatloaf with shallots and fried egg on brown bread.

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 slice(s) meatloaf, approx. 200 g
  • 1 large shallot(s)
  • 1 m.-sized egg(s)
  • 1 slice(s) brown bread, large
  • pepper
  • Sea salt from the mill

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

First, peel the shallot, halve it lengthwise, and slice it into thin rings. Sauté the shallot in a non-stick pan until golden brown. Remove and keep warm. Brown the meatloaf on both sides and keep warm. Add the egg to the pan, season with sea salt and pepper, and cook with the lid on until a white coating forms on the yolk. Top a large slice of brown bread with half the shallot, then the slice of meatloaf, the other half of the shallot, and finally, the fried egg.
