Super French toast made from leftover baked goods

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 slice(s) of bread, cake, toast, pretzels or other pastries
  • 2 eggs
  • 100 ml milk (also plant-based)
  • ½ tsp cinnamon powder
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 handful of nuts of your choice
  • 1 tbsp butter or oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Vegetarian, quick and delicious

Beat the eggs with milk and cinnamon and soak the bread in it for 15 minutes. Bake the soaked bread and nuts in a pan with butter or oil on both sides.
