Spread the love

Ingredients for 15 servings:

  • 500 g flour (wheat flour)
  • 300 ml milk, lukewarm
  • 40 g yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 75 g butter
  • 2 eggs, from the second only the yolk

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Dissolve the yeast in the lukewarm milk, add the sugar. Sift the flour. Add the salt and butter flakes to the flour. Make a small well in the flour and pour the yeast milk into the center of the flour. Let it ferment for a few minutes. Mix all ingredients except the eggs with a dough hook until you have a smooth dough. Cover the bowl and set it in a warm place until the dough has roughly doubled in size. Now shape the dough into a log and cut this into 15 equal pieces. Shape each piece of dough into a roll on a floured work surface, cut it crosswise and place it on a greased baking sheet. Let it rise again a little. Mix the egg and egg yolk and brush the rolls with it. Then bake in a preheated oven (180-200°C fan oven) on the middle rack for 12-15 minutes.
