Shrimp with garlic and tomato sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 16 shrimp(s) (giant prawns)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 chili pepper(s)
  • 2 sprigs rosemary
  • ½ bunch thyme
  • 4 tbsp oil (olive oil)
  • 1 can of tomatoes, peeled (800 g)
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Rinse the shrimp and remove the shells. Peel the garlic and slice thinly. Finely slice the chili. Clean the herbs and remove any needles or leaves. Heat olive oil in a pan. Sauté all prepared ingredients over low heat. Remove the shrimp and keep warm. Drain the tomatoes, roughly chop them, and add them to the pan. Simmer for about 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Serve the garlic and tomato sauce with the shrimp on plates. You can also use fresh tomatoes.
