Delicious garlic baguette with olive oil

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 baguette(s)
  • some olive oil
  • a few garlic cloves
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cut the baguette into thin slices; ciabatta also works well. Peel and halve a garlic clove. Rub both sides of the baguette slices with garlic. Heat a little olive oil in a pan. Finely chop the garlic cloves and add them to the pan. When the oil and garlic start to sizzle, add pepper to taste. Now fry the baguette slices in the oil. Make sure the slices absorb some of the olive oil. When they are lightly browned and a little crispy around the edges, remove the slices from the pan, place them on a plate, and sprinkle with salt. If you want to fry more slices, you may need to add more olive oil and garlic to the pan. The baguettes are also great enjoyed with herb butter or sausage as a snack or as a side dish to Italian food. Have fun trying them out.
