Banana bread à la Christin

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g spelt flour
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 125 g butter
  • n. B. Honey
  • some vanilla extract
  • n. B. Walnuts, raisins, chocolate chunks whole milk, optional
  • 2 ripe bananas and some banana slices
  • 1 shot of milk
  • Fat for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Mash the whole bananas with a little milk. Cream together room-temperature butter, then add eggs and honey to taste (depending on how sweet you like it). Add the bananas. Combine the flour, cinnamon, and baking powder and stir in. To make it absolutely perfect: sift. Fold in toppings (I use raisins, toasted walnuts, and chocolate chunks) as desired. Pour everything into a greased loaf pan and decorate with banana slices. Bake at 175 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit) for 45 minutes. Tips: You can choose any nuts you like (hazelnuts, almonds, etc.). If you like, you can use dates instead of raisins. You can also omit the chocolate chips. Use oat milk instead of cow’s milk. As you can see, there are lots of variations to be had here.
