Herb butter – quick and delicious

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g butter
  • 1 bunch of fresh herbs (parsley, chives, etc.)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 dashes lemon juice
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Combine softened butter with crushed or pressed garlic, stir in salt (use it carefully—I always start with about 1/2 a level teaspoon), chop the herbs, and stir them in. Wait a while until the salt has dissolved. Season again, adding more salt if desired, and finish with a squeeze of lemon. Other spices can be added to taste. Dried or frozen herbs are generally fine, but I personally prefer fresh herbs, as the flavor is more intense. We serve it with baguette or ciabatta. It’s a tasty snack for game nights and always goes down well.
