Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 cup(s) chicken broth
- 2 tsp mustard
- 4 tbsp tomato paste
- e.g. garlic powder
- ½ cup ketchup
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp oil
- 500 g minced beef or mixed
- 1 medium-sized onion(s), finely chopped
- ¼ tsp chili
- 500 g pasta (macaroni)
- 1 package of processed cheese slices (Cheddar)
Instructions

Macaroni and cheese with minced meat
Cook the macaroni in salted water according to the package instructions. In a small bowl, combine the chicken broth, ketchup, mustard, tomato paste, and seasonings. Brown the ground beef in the oil. When browned on all sides, add the diced onions and sauté for about 3 minutes. Add the chili powder. Reduce the heat to medium. Pour the ketchup mixture over the meat. Add the cooked macaroni and stir in the processed cheese, torn into pieces. Reduce the heat. Melt the cheese while stirring until it begins to “settle” at the bottom. Serve immediately.
